This is where people used to leave sacrifices and offerings for the gods.

Hecate sat down on a jagged rock. They were littered all over the place here. Ancient pieces of marble, each carved and put into place by only the power of men. Slowly Hecate looked around. Her memory of this place was still as clear as if it had been yesterday. With a wave of her hand, mist rolled in all around her. It collected in places and began to thicken all around her. Soon it had formed the room she was standing in, but the way it had looked more then 2 thousand years ago. There was an alter with a statue of a three headed goddess on it and misty offerings all around. This was once a temple to her. What was left of it now? Nothing but ruins.

Chaos appeared silently behind her, leaning against the wall that she had made watching her. "Remembering how things used to be." He asked her, looking around the room it was like so many other old temples, he quite missed the old days well mostly just the temples, they were always so pretty and grand he loved his one, that he had hidden away from everyone because he liked it too much to let it get wrecked by time and people. "They aren't made like this or at all anymore and it's quite sad, they used to be master pieces and feets of engenerring nlw they are just rubble of which we all have memories."

Hecate did not flinch when he appeared. She had senesced his dark presence long before he had spoken. Strange that he should come into her memory. It wasn't often she when down memory lane, but when she did, she didn't like to be disturbed. But then again, he was her grandfather. And he was very similar to her in many ways. At least she had never had a problem with him. "Isn't it strange how much time has passed? Sometimes I feel like all this was just yesterday..." Hecate let her hands sink and the fog slowly disappeared back into the shadows. Only now she turned around to see him.

Chaos hadn't bothered to hide his presence like he would have if he had wanted to scare or sneak up on her. "It is, while away from the mortal world we forget how fast and diversely it changes with each generation living out their short lives, each striving to make the best of there 50 to 60 years on this years where we pass centuries away in the blink of an eye, our lives span so long it seems amazing how much they achieve in the little time they have had, how they change and evolve from stone age to the technological age that they are in now." He tells her with a fond smile, of all his children's achievements he liked the humans the best, while he loved his godly children more but the achievements of humans astonished him the most, because they came up with so many things because of there lack of powers, like technology and airplanes. "To us it was like yesterday, because our life spans millennium and not centuries, if a human is lucky."

Hecate nodded. Yes that was it. But it was not a very satisfying answer. Not his fault, of course, but still. It was unsettling almost how much time had passed since all of this. How much more time would pass? Forever was such a long time. Even her magic couldn't turn back the time or stop it from going for to very long. No. Time really wasn't her thing. One of her relatives was probably in charge of that... "Did they worship you? The Greeks. Do they think about you often these days? Your children probably do. Do you have many? Demigods, I mean."

"No, the Greeks didn't worship me, well no that's not quite true, there was actually quite a few back in the old times that used to, but no not so much anymore, I get the occasional prayers and thoughts, but to many these days believe in the bible and that fake god and not the real ones, us, I have a few demi-god children, but most of them are to stubborn to think to ask someone for help, they would rather suffer then ask for help even from me." He tells her thinking of hischildren fondly, though they didn't ask for help he still gave it too them because he could not stand to see his children suffer, he was a softy like that which is why he hated how much the Greeks, Romans and Titans fought.

"Oh asking for help is difficult for all demi-gods I think. Mostly because so many of them are just like us. SO stubborn." Hecate turned to look at her suroundings one more time. It was still so beautiful here. The bumpy hills covered in grass and low hanging olive trees. Now and then one could hear a goat or the waves crushing onto the beach. The underworld was so pretty back then too. All in the Greek style... "It probably also didn't help that lots of them still grew up without us. Most of my children at camp right now did..."

He hummed noncommittally, deciding not to tell her that he had been looking after his kids as much as he could without it being to obvious, he had made them all, they all thought that they had more power than him but it wasn't true, he had made them he could easily get rid of them, but then again not many of them paid attention to him which was what made him join the Titans in the last war.
His big black leather wings stretching and fluttered with the riotous thoughts, he didn't like to broadcast the fact that he had them so he kept them disappeared into nothingness, when he got annoyed, mad or bored his wings wings would flutter and move, sometimes making people aware that he had them, but usually they passed it off as wind or something. While his children and grandchildren had fluffy wings he had black leathery ones, he could make them look like his kids wings but they always reversed back to the leather ones. He walked around annoyed with his thoughts he should be much kinder to his children but he couldn't help it, the wars where beginning to grate on his nerves couldn't they just get along he wondered, running his hands over the stones, making more of it crumble into dust, but some of it grew back to how it used to be.

Hecate stared of into the distance and listened to his humming. Most of her children at camp had grown up without ever really knowing her. Without their mother being there for them. Without someone to tuck them in at night, or sing to them when they were unhappy. Especially since Hecate also had such poor taste in men these last few decades. Only few of them were what would be considered 'a good choice of mate' by modern society. Only Hecates godly children, which were so very few, really knew her. "Oh well. Its not like that anymore though. So now we can be there for them."

"Yeah, not like I listened to them before anyway." He told her with a roll of his eyes, looking around the room again the longer he was here the more depressing it seemed. The passing of time seemed more obvious now then it had before, it seemed that he stayed the same and everything changed around him, being the oldest being out of all of them when they were all so old made him feel ancient, he did not even know properly how old he was, there was the endless time he spent in the void before he even took human form, it seemed every time he blinked centuries had gone past. Especially when he retreated from the world, when he could not deal with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren's arguments. "I hope that it makes it better for you and your children, even the ones that have not yet come to camp you can bring them here now."
